The Brief

• Pitch inspectors were stuck using pen and paper methods for years
• This led to inaccurate or lost data, and a great amount of time and money wasted
• An app, accessible on mobile and desktop devices, was needed to improve this system

The Challenge

• Exact standards and methods had to be built into the app as to remain standardised and fair
• The system was ongoing - it could not be halted during the transition from pen and paper
• The app would use a lot of data, and it was expected to have many visitors in short periods of time
• Many complex features were required, including offline mode and dynamic PDF report generation

• Lead Backend Developer
• Responsible for taking the needs of the clients and converting them into refineable and workable features
• Designing backend features to incorporate complex logic and data-handling
• Completing development work under tight deadlines for client launch dates and transitions
