What is Minecraft x Burberry?

The Brief

• Create a website hosted using a CDN to allow for fast global connections
• Design fun UX for users to claim codes for in-game items
• Full stack application to handle code redemption, rate limiting and other bot protections

The Challenge

• Multiple promotions handled across certain dates allowing users to claim in-game items
• Using the same Minecraft codes website for different promotions, along with different images and animations
• Creating a bound full stack application that gave users a great experience and prevented bots
• Having the website handle mass traffic from multiple countries across the globe

Our Role

• Lead Full Stack Developer
• Heading the creation of a CMS to handle multiple promotions, each with their own dates, deadlines and assets
• Tackling bot-related issues and coming up with security-based solutions
• Creating a fun user experience for customers redeeming codes and claiming in-game items
